The first meeting of the book club will be held January 7th, at the Coffee Scene (upstairs), on Morganton Rd next to Carabba’s, at 12:30. The group will meet on the 1st Thursday of the month.
The book under discussion will be We The Living, by Ayn Rand. Please read part I before the meeting. Part II will be discussed at the February meeting

Our next Bunco evening is scheduled for October 29th, at the home of Catherine Earle, 7 PM to 9 PM. No previous experience necessary. Bring a snack to share with the group. We are planning on 16 people. Our first get together in August was a blast. We learned that we have some very witty and creative people in our midst. Contact Judy Geneser for information.

Please bring a covered dish to share for lunch–salad, dessert, sandwich “stuff”
There will be prizes for the member bringing the most guests (prospective members). Bring a baby picture of yourself for a fun game. We will have a short meeting and regular raffle drawing.
After our meeting you are invited to the Vineyard’s wine tasting. For $8, you may sample 12 wines and you get to keep the glass!
